as motivation to start getting back in some kind of shape i ran this race. wow. didn't know pace for shit. thought i was out slow in 4:55. that actually felt ok until the last mile. 2m in 10:05. then death. for the most part i'm satisfied though.  |

felt decent, pretty effortless. had a trailer for the first loop. why do people do this? why?
the corporate challenge was today which is impressive in volume and ludacris by most other measures. the idea of following the course is lost on what, 10, 20 percent of the participants? next time just run - whatever you call that - the course backwards from the start to the finish. it's a much shorter distance. most importantly, stay off the bridle path and out of my way or you will catch a sharp elbow to the fleshy part of your arm. no, really.  |
