i joined avenue a | razorfish's user experience team in december 2006. prior to that, i was lead developer of the client side web team at collegeboard.com. in that role, i advocated and made recommendations for adoption of new technologies including ajax, rss, and standards compliant, accessible markup. beyond leading the team of 6, i served as liaison between my team and backend developers, designers, and business strategists. i'd like to think i have a diverse, perchance interesting?, background, which includes a master's degree in urban planning. i have written and presented technical white papers, managed client partnerships, and was a programmer at compuserve during the infancy of the internet's commercial adaptation. sadly, i started programming before the mouse was widely available.

beyond that, i'm pretty much a geek. i moved to new york in the summer of 1999. i lived in the west village for seven years and now live with my girlfriend in hell's kitchen. i don't run so much any more, but i read a lot to make up for it.
