This site is built entirely with php and has a mysql database on the backend. I have used the architecture with other clients. It also has an all css layout. The running log is the most sophisticated item here. It utilizes the gd lib image functions to generate a dynamic png file charting my weekly mileage for each year. There is also a search function (within the limitations of a MySQL Full-text Search) which enables one to find specific terms within the log and to find similar runs for comparison. It continues to evolve.
Below are some additional examples of my work:

- stayed abreast of web technology trends and introduced them to the college board where appropriate
- served as a technical resource for many colleagues within and outside the html group
- worked to improve my ability to convey technical ideas to co-workers by evaluating the results of others' work based on my instruction. worked to better demonstrate my problem solving techniques to others particularly by asking questions of those i am instructing instead of dictating to them
